Rev Richard M. Wilson Sr.
Biography

Richard M WilsonRev Richard M. Wilson Sr. is a retired phlebotomist after working as a medical professional for over 40 years.  He is currently the President of the Glen Cove Rotary. He is a recipient of the Paul Harris award and served as the co-chairperson for the 1st Glen Cove Rotary Day. 

Rev. Wilson has been in the ministry for over 30 years. He is a graduate of the Certificate Program at Virginia Seminary and College. He is an associate Minister at the Antioch Baptist Church of Hempstead where Bishop Phillip E. Elliott is his pastor.  He has served in many areas of ministry at Antioch.  He is Director of the Outreach Ministry, a youth advisor and serves as the chief associate to Bishop Elliott.  He has served as Chairperson of the Help, Hope and Healing Crusade, Church Anniversary, and Confirmation Ministry Teacher.   

Rev. Wilson is always there when you need him.  He has been an integral part of the Antioch family.  Visiting the sick, delivering food to the needy, finding housing for the homeless, assisting in getting hospitalization for those who are struggling mentally and physically.   He has a passion for assisting those with substance abuse issues.  

Rev. Wilson is the President and CEO of Wilson Enterprise a management company working out of the Glen Cove area.   Rev. Wilson’s new venture combines his love of his church and his love of photography.  He is currently working with the Stevenson Printing Company, as Vice President of Sales, working with churches and other organizations for their publishing needs, i.e., programs and journals.  

Rev. Wilson has been married for the past 22 years to Jacqueline Wilson.  Together they have 5 grown children, 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
